Labour Film Screening: CLiFF

CUPE 2424 is excited to virtually host a CLiFF (Canadian Labour International Film Festival) screening this year!

Thursday, Nov 14 @ 7:00pm | Virtual & free

We have curated a screening of 5 labour films for viewing for our membership, with a total runtime of 55 minutes. The films below touch on a variety of topics.

  • Bargaining Forward: the resilience of CUPE workers fighting for fairness
  • Time of Insurrection: a loss of faith in capitalism in a global corporation
  • Permit Garden: a dreamlike parable about immigration
  • The Canadian Dream: a family’s experience of migrant farm work in Canada
  • Chimborazo: the loss of a way of life

We hope that you sign up, grab some popcorn, and enjoy these labour films!

In Solidarity,
