Dinner and Discussion:

Our inaugural Black History Month dinner and discussion will serve as a unique platform for intellectual exchange and celebration of Black history.
Speakers will represent diverse academic and professional backgrounds, the CUASA, CUPE 4600, and CUPE 2424 members will share insights and perspectives on various aspects of Black history, spanning historical milestones to contemporary issues. The discussions will enrich by the collective expertise and experiences, fostering a dynamic and inclusive dialogue.

Movie Screening:

Join the RJC for an evening filled with entertainment, emotion, and engaging storytelling. Be among the first to take part in our first Black History Month film screening evening. The event will not only offer an opportunity to enjoy exceptional cinema but also to connect with fellow movie enthusiasts.

Join the RJC in watching Get Out, Jordan Peele’s 2017 award winning  psychological horror film.

Refreshments will be provided, and there will be a post-screening discussion to share thoughts and insights about the film.
