CUPE 2424’s Grievance Committee is responsible for protecting the rights of the membership and upholding the terms of the Collective Agreement. This Committee has tackled issues ranging from job competitions, accommodations, overtime, probation, sick and other types of leave, workload, redundancy, flexible work arrangements, harassment and interpersonal conflict, and reclassification requests, just to name a few.

The Committee consists of at least five (5) appointed members of the general membership. This Committee shall ensure that the provisions of the Collective Agreement are enforced in a fair and equitable manner through the grievance procedure.
