Campus United, a coalition of Carleton University (CU) unions and associations, invites you to a webinar about the current funding climate and a panel discussion about CU’s budget and finances, and Bill 124.

This event is hybrid, held in Porter Hall (231 Nideyinàn) and on Zoom. Registration is not required. To attend virtually please use the webinar link.

Program:

  1. Keynote Speaker: Preethy Sivakumar (Research, CUPE Ontario)
    • Preethy will discuss the current funding climate and its implications for sector threats and opportunities.
  2. Campus United Panel Discussion: Campus United will discuss CU’s budget, finances, and Bill 124.
    • Moderator: Dominique Marshall (President, CUASA)
    • Panellists: Noreen Cauley-Le Fevre (President, CUPE 4600), Jerrett Clark (President, CUPE 2424), and Pierre Cloutier de Repentigny (Chief Negotiator, CUASA)
  3. Q&A: Question period from online and in-person participants.
