CUPE 2424’s Jobs Committee reviews job description classifications, and deals with issues related to job evaluation, pay equity and redeployment. When members submit a job re-classification (per Article 43), it eventually goes to the Employer for scoring, and is later sent to the Union to review. The Jobs Committee scores the position and may challenge the Employer’s determination (per Article 43.04).
The Jobs Committee consists of at least five (5) appointed members of the general membership.
Meeting details: Independent work (1 hour weekly virtual), ad hoc meetings as needed.
